These tables contain values for the molar electrical conductivity Λ of aqueous hydrohalogen acids. The molar electrical conductivity Λ of an electrolyte solution is defined as the electrical conductivity divided by amount-of-substance concentration. The customary unit is S cm2 mol–1 (i.e., Ω–1 cm2 mol–1). All values of concentration are expressed as molarity M = mol L-1.
Table 1 gives the molar electrical conductivity Λ of the hydrohalogen acids at 25 °C as a function of the concentration as expressed in molarity M. Tables 2 and 3 give both the temperature and concentration (as molarity M) dependence of the molar electrical conducivity Λ for aqueous HCl and HBr, respectively. More extensive tables and mathematical representations may be found in the reference.
